Force Training

The purpose of this variant is to create a more dynamic environment for Force Sensitive characters wielding Force Powers. Moreover, it reserves Force Points for acts of heroism instead of replenishing depleted Force Power reserves.

Force Powers Known

Every time your character selects the Force Training feat, you gain your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1) Force Powers known. You cannot select the same Force Power twice (there’s no mechanical benefit to doing so except taking up a slot that could provide access to an additional Force Power).

Force Powers per Encounter

The Force Training feat grants your character your Wisdom modifier +1 uses of all known Force Powers per encounter for each time the feat is taken. Your character may elect to use any known Force Power and each activation of a Force Power expends a single use. Spending a Force Point as a reaction instead recovers one Force Power use which can be used to activate any known Force Power. Your character recovers all uses of Force Powers after approximately one minute of rest.

Example
Sai Jaxx has a +4 Wisdom modifier and has elected to take Force Training 4 times. This means that he knows a grand total of 16 Force Powers and can use any of these Force Powers 20 times in a single encounter.

New Force Powers

New Force Power – Repelling Saber New!
[Lightsaber Form]
By infusing your lightsaber with the living force, you can repel Force Powers used by opponents in concert with your attempt to thwart their attack. Time: Reaction (when targeted by an attack augmented with a Force Power). Target: You
Make a Use the Force Check. Compare this check to the Use the Force check of a single Force Power, such as a Lightsaber Form power or Shatterpoint. If your check equals or exceeds the Use the Force check that activated the hostile power, you negate the benefits that power confers from the attack. After making this check, as part of the same reaction, you can make another Use the Force check to Block or Deflect the attack if you have the appropriate talent.
Lightsaber Form (Any): If your Use the Force check exceeds the activation roll of the repelled Force Power by 5 or more, you may use the Force Power you successfully repelled on your next attack roll provided it is made on your next turn. If an attack augmented this way is also successfully stopped using Repelling Saber, the power is simply canceled out.
